Today we went out and walked the fields and we are SOOOOOO excited to start harvesting! There are some true beauties out there and we cannot wait to share them with you! Here is a rundown of our plan for the season:
We are opening Thursday, September 24! Our goal is to have our pumpkins, squashes, gourds, straw bales, corn stalks and any remaining mums and kale out for sale on opening day! Weekdays will be set up as a self-serve stand so we may or may not see you. This means that we are not able to process credit cards during the week, but we do accept venmo and paypal as well! That info is on our paybox if you need it.

Then starting on Saturday, September 26 our gift shop will be opening!!!! I cannot wait to share with you all of the goodies we will have in there this year! Of course we’ll have our soy candles and melts and our favorites from Cooper Crafts, Casting Whimsy handcrafted loose teas, Custom signs by Mallory and Kate’s amazing caramels, but we have some new, very exciting products to share with you this year as well! Be on the lookout next week for all of the goodies we will have in the gift shop! I’ll share a post to our facebook page once we get everything in from everyone! Did someone say embroidered tea towels??!

We are full service on the weekends meaning we can help you load your car if need be, process credit cards, take a family photo by the truck, whatever you need! Our hours for the season will be daily from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. through October 30 with modified hours on October 31. We will also have our gift shop open on Columbus Day this year as well!
Unfortunately we will not have the children’s play area set up this year due to the pandemic, but we are just thrilled that we get to open and enjoy our favorite season with all of you! We will still have our cutouts out for some fun photo opportunities! We ask that you wear a mask or at the very least, bring one with you if you can’t distance more than 6′ apart from others. The weekdays are usually pretty calm, but it can get busier on the weekends.
If you would like to check out our gift shop, masks are required. You are welcome to visit inside the gift shop with any guests you came with, but if someone outside of your party is in the shop, we ask that you wait outside until they are finished (for anyone who has visited in the past, you know how tiny it is in there anyway!). We will do our best to sanitize the doorknobs and any high traffic touch areas. We will have plenty of hand sanitizer available as well!
We are working so very hard to make this a spectacular year despite the challenges 2020 has brought. We are praying for a successful harvest, to remain healthy and energetic and while we’re at it, we’ll ask for some nice weather too!
I hope you can feel our heartfelt gratitude of following our page and supporting this crazy dream of ours! We hope to see you soon!

Here are a few sneak peeks of what’s to come for this season:

We have some gorgeous mums and ornamental kales available from We Grow Dreams of West Chicago, IL. We love their mission of employing people with disabilities and are thrilled to partner up with them this year!

Well hello Beautiful!

I can’t wait to eat some of the hull-less seeds from our Kakai pumpkins! Yum!

A couple of years ago during harvest, we came across these teeny tiny gourds and I thought “no one is ever going to want to buy those!” and then I realized that they make the most perfect Barbie pumpkin! Come to our farm and decorate your Dreamhouse! 🙂

We have had plenty of good things come out of 2020 despite the challenges, but this just seemed too funny not to make! We’ll have a few of these available in the gift shop on the weekends! Otherwise, hit me up and I’d be happy to make one in any scent you would like!
